Vail Ski Area

The Vail Ski Area is one of the best ski resorts on the continent and for good reason. They have tons of terrain with something for everyone including the most advanced of skiiers and snowboarders. They have massive terrain parks and a resort experience that rivals any in the country.

The Mountain

Vail has a peak height of 11,570 ft. with a vertical of 3,450 ft. They average 350" of snow annually on 5,289 acres. With 193 trails, 31 lifts and 3 terrain parks you have more options than you can cover. They also have 1 superpipe and 1 halfpipe where you can catch some air or simply watch and be entertained.

The Bwana and Pride terrain parks are built for beginners and intermediate riders while the Golden Peak Terrain Park is built for serious air and advanced tricks.

The mountain also boasts a great ski snowboard school that will get beginners off to a good start.

The Resort

If the world class skiing and snowboarding is not enought the resort and town of Vail offers everything you can imagine. They have fine dining and a range of lodging options. There are no cars in town and you can walk the cobble stone streets without any worries. You can stop off for a round around the ice rink before or after dinner and bask in the crisp mountain air before settling in for the night.

Many people enjoy renting a Vail ski condo while others prefer staying close to the mountain and enjoying the ammenities the resort offers.
