Winter Park Ski AreaThe Winter Park Ski Area has loads of snow and plenty of sunshine. Throw in the world class terrain and you have a great place to consider visiting. This is one of the best ski resorts in the state of Colorado.
The Mountain The highest peak rises to 12,060 ft. with a 2,610 ft. vertical. They hasve 25 lifts and an astonding 3,060 acres of terrain with another 1,212 acres of accessible backcountry. They have 143 trails, 6 terrain parks, 1 superpipe and the mountain usually has over 300" of annual snowfall with some years reaching over 400". The Winter Park lift tickets are reasonable priced and they offer ski vacation packages. They have ski and snowboard lessons as well as mountain bike lessons in the summer. The Resort The village at Winter Park has ice skating, fine dining, and there is a good night life at the bars. There are great shopping opportunities and plenty of lodging available in the area.
